My Writing Machine

Tomorrow's the big day! I'll be writing this year's novel on my Olympia SM3 manual typewriter. I have other typewriters, but this big Olympia is my favorite. I'll have to write 172 pages to get 50k by Nov. 25, that's about 7 pages a day. I'm aiming for 2,000 words a day so I can finish early, and have a buffer in case I miss writing sessions.

Yes, only three days to go before the November madness strikes. I'll be writing a day-by-day account of how I'm getting along. There's nothing to sell, nothing to buy, only the literary squirmings of a lesser known author.

And watch this space for the Amazing NaNoWriMo Beard I'll be growing. My wife will hate it, but I can get away with it for at least a month.
